Accessibility Statement
WrenchFinder aims to provide a marketplace that people can perceive, navigate, understand, and use with common assistive technologies.
Status: Pre-launch draft — not yet effective
Our commitment
We aim to follow WCAG 2.2 Level AA as a product and engineering target where reasonably practicable. Accessibility is part of design, implementation, testing, and content review rather than a one-time certification.
Measures we take
- semantic structure, labels, keyboard operation, visible focus, and meaningful error messages;
- responsive layouts, readable contrast, text resizing, and reduced-motion support;
- plain-language content and alternatives to map-only discovery;
- testing with automated tools, keyboard navigation, and representative assistive technology; and
- accessibility requirements in new components and third-party evaluations.
Known limitations
Third-party interactive maps may present accessibility limitations; shop results remain available in a list. Shop-supplied images, documents, external websites, and content may not meet the same standard. We work to provide alternatives and correct issues under our control.
Feedback and accommodation
Use the published accessibility support channel: Accessibility contact pending launch verification. Include the page or task, the barrier encountered, browser or assistive technology if comfortable sharing it, and your preferred response format. We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within five business days and will offer a reasonable alternative where possible.
Assessment
This statement is based on internal review and ongoing testing. It is not a claim of third-party certification. We will update it as the platform and applicable accessibility requirements evolve.
